This has been a rough day. Usually, Luyten is filled with skirmishes and minor battles, but today, the Kluth invaded in force. Their ships came in one huge wave of stations and dreads. Once or twice, the ships in my fleet sighted a small Talon flying around and through the Kluth formations.
We had only one battle dreadnought and three gunboat destroyers against their tens of stations and dreads (And miscellaneous other ships). Contrasting the violent enemy ships, space was calm like always. It feels like one of those dreams where nothing feels real. But this is only too real. If all goes well, my fleet may be able to hold the Kluth off long enough for reinforcements from R33 and Lalande to arrive. However, chances are that we’re destined to die an honorable death. This might very well be my last message before I rush into battle. I will try to keep a database of Kluth tactics for future use against them. --- Message End.
PS. Maybe I'll add the battle part in later. (Oh and notice the name of the Captain)

I had barely managed to escape from the wrath of the Kluth. My saviour was UGTO tactic #987: Run for your life!
Upon returning to Michelle, I saw that the repair depots were all preoccupied with another bucket of bolts. So, I immediately went on-planet for some caf.
Upon my arrival back aboard my ship, I noticed that there the ships I had seen on arrival were gone and in their place were big piles of smoking debris.
With all my experience, I knew what had happened here. The AI Flux spam had struck again.
