It looks like the display of enemy infantry that boarded you is bugged. I get the "Enemy infantry have boarded message" but no enemy infantry show up in my cargo. They are still there as I take system damage eventually but they just don't display.
Other players have mentioned similar things on the ingame chat, but I'm not sure if this happens 100% of the time or how to reproduce it.

im not so sure its a bug. had some 15+ inf drops on me and none of them showed

4 kluth inf boarded my ship yesterday, didnt show up, then captured my Command Station.
also, i remember having 5-6 inf of my own in cargo, but there was no fighting between inf.
thought it was a one-time glitch yesterday, but it seems this was not true.

Experienced the same problem over here, not just infantry, sometimes when my team members passed resources to me i cant see it or even use it since its invisible.

same here, only with enemy infantry, not all of the time, not sure what causes it.

Now that you mention it, I've been having this problem as well.
I didn't think it was too big of a deal since I already knew the inf was there

I havn't had this problem as of yet. D: Though the last time I was boarded was when fighting pirates.

I have had this happen multiple times. The last 4 time I remember getting borded I got the enemy infatry message but not a single infantry showed in my cargo.

occured to me aswell, got board by 4 inf, they never showed up, and after a while i saw damaged systems

Hm, this is quite odd. The related code for NounUnit has been touched for an extremely long time, and if you get the "Enemy infantry has boarded!" message, it means 100% the infantry unit is attached to your ship.
Does anybody have a way to reproduce this 100% (is it happening all the time or is it only some of the times)? If so we can look into it more

Only thing I could think of that would effect this is the VerbUnload. It's server scope only, but it should be syncing properly. It might just be the case that the cargo isn't being updated.

might be worth mentioning, that when the bug did occur,
a) the bugged boarding inf could not be seen
b) message about the inf boarding the ship was shown
c) the bugged inf did not fight with friendly inf, at all.
the boarders dont do damage to friendlies, at the very least. its also possible the friendlies dont damage the boarders either (else the bugged inf couldnt possibly capture a ship).
edit: pls also check the code which stops a boarding infantry from trying to capture a ship while there is combat ongoing aboard the ship. i suspect that the boarding infantry are cap-prevented only if they are taking/dealing damage.

The status of your Infantry not going down in combat may also indicate that your cargo isn't updating. if it isn't updating that there's enemy inf, it wouldn't be updating to show your infantry is taking damage. This makes me think this is just an issue with the cargo updating.
