Greetings All,
I have heard about the recent security breach affecting Darkspace and was worried about the password hack. I would like to have mine changed please by the administrators as I have read that most people have already had theirs changed. I also have a second newer account which has had its password changed and a coupon given by way of compensation. Please can my main account have this altered also.
Also i would like to take this opportunity to ask another question namely, is it possible to have an alternative account running from 1 router in the same household at the same time as my main account. I know it is possible to do as i have logged in with 2 clients running on 2 seperate computers sharing just one router, in the past. Are we allowed to do this? I know other MMOL games allow multiple accounts logged in at once (so-called alts), I used to fly around everyso often with a backup sensor frigate to lower my signature and help detect enemy ships (ooh, just imagine a picket escort destroyer on pd with a missle destroyer main - nice combo ; ) ), is this allowed in game?

You're free to change the password yourself via the Edit Profile button when viewing your profile.
All accounts had their passwords reset and emails sent out with coupons. All emails have successfully been sent as of a couple of days ago, with only a few marked for re-sending as their destination wasn't reached (most probably domains that don't exist anymore).
A single user is only allowed to have a single account logged in and playing at once. Multi-boxing and its various nicknames are disallowed and will be met with heavy penalty and punishment as it gives an extreme advantage in DarkSpace compared to others.

Thank you pantheon for your prompt reply, I will not fly two ships at once again. It is a shame though as it means that previously me and a friend could have played this game together from the same address my friend using my second account, now they have to go home : (
I do realise the advantage such a situation brings i just thought as other MMOL games allow this and i had managed to login with two clients from the same ISP number it wasn't a feature barred by this game. I stand corrected.
Regarding my original problem, ok i will change my password myself, is it possible that i get the coupon also, i will be deleting my second account now as it now no longer serves a purpose. That account (alfadwa) received a coupon, may Alfajeden (my main and soon to be single account) recieve such a security breach compensation coupon instead?
