Is it me or are the K'Luth dreads underpowered ?
cuz i just saw 5 K'Luth dreads VS 1 UGTO Support station and 1 UGTO Battle station
All they could do is get the battlestation's hull to 95%..........

no, UGTO stations are just OP at the moment because of HP of their armor combined with repair rates and enhancements.
Next version should be much better.

at least you knocked off 5% of its hull... earlier every station could repair and it made a completely invulnerable phalanx...

oh, then two stations (ugto) are supposed to stand up to 5 kluth dreads.

to clear up what im saying, of the three possibilityes;
1. 2 UGTO stations are supposed to take on 5 dreads and win.
2. Kluth dreads are just underpowered.
3. UGTO stations are over powered.
Number three made the most sence. Also has the most evidence supporting it.
When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth.
Dont mistake this for me taking a side. Im not out to bash UGTO, but in the next patch ugto is slated for a armor HP nurf. Seems you devs also think UGTO is a bit OP at the moment?
- Standard and Ablative Armor HP reduced by 5% and 7.5% respectively.

The K'luth dreads made a mistake.
They shoulda taken out the Support Station first. Once you knock out UGTO rep capability, the battlestation won't last that long.

Definatly not. You just have to think a little about how to attack them. A fleet of 4 gangs and an indictor could have made the stations crumple.

that wouldn't have been to effective either due to the plat spam they had setup as well. It was just a bad situation to attack, It would have been better to try to draw one through the gate that was nearby instead of directly engaging

Supply plats? Were they also at a planet? Within 750gu? Did the planet have a depot?
If yes, then no crap the 5 dreads lost...

And there weren't siupply plats spammed, they were sensor plats. There was no supply other than the station. You telling me that 5 dreads are not supposed to be able to handle a station, and the station was able to not only stay above 90% hull, but tank 5 dreads, than I say you need your head examined.
But again, there is no criticism that will be accepted where UGTO is concerned.

One does wonder how it got this out of hand though.
Seems like it took the near death of a entire faction to gain the proper attention.

There's a repair amount limit for each ship, 5 Dreadnoughts can easily outstrip this, even with rotating and any amount of tricks you can think of.
Latency can often deceive you and paint a brighter/worse picture than you think, and again, there's not much we can do to fix that without changing how the entire game works and turning it into a dice roll. You may have thought you were attacking hull when you were in fact hitting another armor plate/shield facing, for example.
The only thing you can't destroy is an AOE field repair, which both planets and Stations have. The Station equiped AOE repairs aren't anywhere near as effecient as planetary ones, so unless those platforms were supply plats and no-one took them out, there is a very high posibility this was simply down to a dab of latency.
