hi, i have downloaded darkspace onto a desktop and i go to the server it loads but it freezes when it get to the end of the load perioud, can anyone help ??

assuming your using the same computer you had befor, try ctrl alt delete.
bring up your task manager and see if the application is not responding. Upon seeing that it has not, go back to the game.
This is the jolt to the system that i used to have to do with my old pc to get it past the loading screen.
I dont know if your having the same problem, but cant hurt to try

run program as admin, or manually allow darkspace trough ur security. u prolly missed that screen asking u want to allow DS yes/no.
also if gamescreen freezes at start-up, running taskmanager and clicking the non responding darkspace in processes usually brings it back after 5-10 sec

maybe try to close all non essential programs (skype,msn,ect) also try disabling multicore support, shaders, ect (via darkspace setup)

Run DarkSpace Setup and untick "Enable Shaders" and tick "Disable Shadows".
