Heya im having a pretty annoying experience with any program that uses a browser at the moment, I have tried setting each of my browsers as default but still no change.
This has happened with a few other programs as I said, but seems to have hit DS the hardest as I cant even see the lobby chat....If anyone has any solutions to my problem could you please please help out
Saving the file also seems not to help the proses either [ This Message was edited by: Admiral Alucard (2IC) on 2011-01-26 12:54 ]

GCQL uses the Trident engine (IE) to render it's pages, and to render chat (it's just a html page). If your IE install is somehow broken, then it effectively breaks GCQL. You need to reinstall it or repair it for GCQL to return to normal functionality.
And no, we're not about to rebuild GCQL with WebKit, Chromium, Awsomium, or Mozilla.

No love for opera? .
I have a similar issue when opening links in gcql. It asks me to choose program/retry/abort and whenever I pick one, it just asks again, indefinately till I kill gcql. So if I want to click a link I have to go to darkspace.net with a normal browser. Weird eh?
Not that I'm complaining. Doesn't bug me in the slightest .

| TBO i use Opera for anything DS related.
And for the most time any link inside GCQL i copy to use in a outside browser so i minimize my IE usage.
I only have one usage for the tab. it is when i click on a persons name in the room members list and i "Profile"..
About the problem. i have had this when i tried disabling IE. no chat, no browser. so unfortunately GCQL requires a (partial) working IE.
