Client was just updated - close GCQL from either the taskbar icon or from the GameCQ file menu, and restart it and let it update.

Yes, I don't think this fix is quite what it was intended to be.

It's working perfectly here. Quite a few of us in-lobby.

I got a message:
The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log for more detail.
I checked the logs and found nothing.
This only stopped working the moment I closed to update after the newest fix. I was in chat before-hand. [ This Message was edited by: JBud on 2010-06-14 21:32 ]

Something is broken - booted from the game also.
Frankly, the latest wave of changes has been the least stable for me in many years with random disconnects in the last few days. I'm sure this is probably a quickie fix once Richard pins it down.

Download this and install it over the top of your existing GameCQ installation -- in the same folder you initially installed Darkspace into. GameCQ popped right up after I did.
(Note: This is a workaround I discovered, not an official fix. A real fix is in the works and will be posted shortly.
Sadly it takes longer than we'd like because the problem mostly stems from an update made to the development server which now has to be reset and then the code rebuilt.. but we'll have a fix up soon. Your continued patience is appreciated.)

That worked, I can chat at least. Just need to install that after getting the application configuration error. [ This Message was edited by: Talien on 2010-06-14 23:01 ]

only issue I ran into was checking local files stick when I went to launch the game. Restarted GCQL, it updated and everything's all fine and dandy for me.
