While in the Cassiopeia and Ursa Minor servers, I encountered a bug that removes the cooldown when you fire a weapon. It has only occured when I swap a weapon, and once when I went through a jumpgate.

Respawning the ship with the bugged weapons seems to fix the issue as far as I know, and I have not seen this happen with electronic warfare or fighters yet.

It happens randomly for me, i notice it when i drop half my power after tapping spacebar 3 times quickly (i tend to tap keys fast due to being twitchy from fps games)

before i realise it ive fired 20 ion cannons at some poor unsuspecting fellow o.O

That aside, its a rather anoying and evil bug, just as bad as the arc bug. unless its brought in as a feature, try not to spam spacebar as much... you never know when you may end up firing 6+ core weapons at someone in a second (it sounds awesome, but ive been on the reciving end of the si version. not plesant)

You can fire 20 si/qst/ion on anyone. They wont do any damage tho. It is known bug, we tried it and it doesnt work like omfg uber krill.

Ive actually gotten this bug in Scenario. I'll be flying my mandi and all of a sudden if see a river of green torps flying for someone and it does do the damage, although im left flying helplessly with no energy.

It both does and dosent do the damage, for some reason. i allways seem to hit every shot if i get the bug. others may not. but yeah it's dependant.

if it was just pure client side and you didnt actually fired the guns, that wouldint be THAT big of a deal, but it's not, its both client and server. you end up shooting someone with hundreds of something.

It's an issue with your client sending a packet, and the server not receiving it. Happens occasionally.
