This one is weird. When he looks toward the asteroids his energy starts to drop. When he turns away it rises. And you'll notice it's not the ship that's turning, it's just his view.

FYI, the energy drain whilst moving isn't a bug. Not sure exactly whay this is happening though - can you reproduce it each time?

Last nigth i experienced other smal ships to appear ALOT larget then they usaly are. Never seen that before. No way to reproduce but ill take a picture next time.

also in that same system lastnight i was having major power issues my self. would decloak fire 1 space bar worth of weaponds on a siphon and before my weaponds would be done firing i was at 0 power. the odd thing was though i could still cloak, run ecm, and charge weaponds but wasn't able to fire em again.

Could it possibly be related to the fact that energy entities spawn in that system? Not that one was nearby, but maybe there's a bug somewhere.

Siphon has power issues fixed in the next patch. Also, cloak doesn't disengage when you're out of power, it just flickers.

I know this issue, and I can repeat it...
FRAMERATE!!!!
My energy drops in times of lowered framerate..
The reason it's happening to you is to render the asteroids is lowering your framerate... Test the same thing with ALT+P activated and you will notice changes in your framerate when your energy drops like that..
In some extreme cases Ive seen my fully halted ship drain all its energy due to a CPU issue that caused a drop in framerate on my old PC.
ANYONE can test this, go out and grab an old PC and play darkspace, you'll notice in-times of low framerate strange things happen, including energydrain. [ This Message was edited by: Scientia on 2010-04-06 14:01 ]

Got some graphic bug. Notice that the rectangles only is on the suns.
I reloged and it was fine again.
Anyways jack said something about me graphic card was overheated, not sure about that and ran it troug other games and had prolly 2-3 games runing at the same time without this bug appearing again.
The computer is new and got a good graphic card, it wasnt very hot when i felt on it.
Not sure if this is the same bug as the one posted. But here it is:

Not the same bug, not a bug at all Tommas. That's GPU memory corruption or overheating.
