I was looking over something the other days and thought what else darkspace could give to its users, what about adding voice comms NOT asking for it in game but if people are in the lobby and they make a room that room could allow them to get voice comms, it has very important potiential, such as actualy live person to person talks the battle strategy abilities of that alone is worth it. but there is much more that can be done and its far easier to gauge a persons state by the voice levels and everyone can just communicate easier.

DONT SHOOT THE IDEA DOWN SO FAST and dont shoot me either.

be even better if it was kinda like SWGs new system. They made it so that when you group up, u connect to a group server.
With grouping coning back (at some point) it would be nice to have.

However if I remember right, there either was one originally or there was supposed to be one that never happened. That was before my day though. I seem to remeber there being something in your settings that refered to it.....

maybe not, I'm old dont trust my memory.

downloading an external program is for lazy devs, devs who intigrate a voice server into there own game is devs who aint so lazy THAT IS ALL lol

If i recall there is a voice Chat build into the game. (if its still in there)
I was told the following.

Additional bandwidth costs & promise from all players not to complain about the additional LAG. Where required.
Additional Bandwidth you say? Well the voice chat thats included isn't optimized, so i have been told its a big increase.
Lag you say? well additional bandwidth creates a bottleneck, so one follows the other.

The game has support for voice communication, and its as optimized as any other offering out there...

But any voice comm increases the bandwidth cost of the game. And bandwidth costs money. We decided that instead of activating the in game voice communication which is a bear to moderate and using up limited bandwidth resources to support it was not the best use of subscription money.

From time to time other players have offered up and hosted their own Ventrillio or other voice communication services.

Its not the Dev's being lazy, its about us being smarter with the revenue stream that we have and making the most of it.
