how goes DS after the patch, good, bad indifferent.
what is worth it, what not, is it worth dipping the toe back in??

Hiya Downey, nice to see you back. To get an indication of what Darkspace is like not the devlopment log is a good place to start.
As for playing Darkspace it is a complete new kettle of fish from the days of 1.4xx and I personally think from what I remember when we played K'luth you might like this new version.
I'd say its certainly worth a sub even for one month and see what you think.
Things to look out for, complete new system layout, will take some getting use to (hated it at first, but not so bad now) and the other is Enchancements. These little babies are modules which are rewarded to you after you killed a player/npc and you have the option to fit them to your ship. These enchancement will give you added stats to your ship, whether it be amour increase stats or weapons / beams stats increase. You have 8 slots and can mix and match how ever you like.
Also Dictors are not working properly at the moment, which personally i think is great as there are some great battles going on in Darkspace now, but unfortunately i think this will be short lived and they will be fixed soon.
Planets def are very weak at the moment and you can capture them with a few tranny rushes, but this will be retified in the next patch, how much more in percentage wise the def will be increase we are not entirely sure yet.
But I would say its certainly worth a look especially from an old timer such as yourself.

Worth a 1 month sub to check it out I'd say. Some ways, its better than it was by miles. In others, well, they are working on it again at least
K'luth fighting style now officially a wolfpack or die style. That leads to nice battles tho
Anyways, hope I see you on.

i would say yes but that is my opionion you should have been here about 2 weeks ago it was free for 2 weeks honestly i would sugest subbing for 1 month and see if you like it for yourself
