Hi, I'm new to darkspace and have downloaded the client. I ran the tutorial and that played fine. When I tried to play on a proper server though, the game loaded up fine, but none of the graphics showed. Only the selection buttons.

Could this be a graphics card issue? I have a notebook with intel 915GM. If it is I'm surprised it worked ok for the tutorial but not for the main server.

First, are you just looking at the "Play, Observe, etc, Logoff" buttons? That menu typically has no graphics - just a black backdrop, and those buttons.

So, have you tried hitting Play, and trying to spawn a ship?

Second, what client did you download? The 1.508 one?

I downloaded it January 1st so was probably 1.506. I'm downloading an update at the moment so will try play again after that. I'm pretty sure I clicked on the play button but I'll try again just to be sure.
