it keep telling me that i dont have the game installet!! |

then i open the game and connet to the lobby i can`t play on ANY of the severs and tells me that i havn´t the game installet!!
WHY IS IT DOING THAT??.....
ps: sorry about my very rusty english.

have you tried pushing the "Update" button next to the "Play" button?

2 possibilities:
1) something got messed up during the installation process and one or more of the necessary registry keys didnt get created. reinstalling should fix this, or i believe fattierob has a .reg file that you can run
2) you downloaded the beta client by mistake, this is the client that you want

that is the registry file that mersenne mentioned. to use it, just download it anywhere and double click on it. hit "yes" for the pop-up box. If you do not trust it, you can open the .reg file in notepad to see what it does.
also, you'll need to be on an admin account under windows XP to isntall darkspace and/or use the registry fixer.

? Try clicking on the "Lobby" button next to "Play" and selecting "Darkspace".
Does that help?

i got it up and running on the admin but still not on my account
i just stop duing any thing ABOUT DARKSPACE
then i try to connet to the lobby!

Do you have vista ? if yes check the [DarkSpace and Windows Vista] topic.
On vista, darkspace requires administrator priveliges to run.
And on Xp your acount needs atleast needs "User access to run.
(I havent tried installation on user access in XP yet.)

Your Windows XP user account must be an admin account to install the game.

let me guess, your administrator runs a to tight registry, and forgots you to put you on the allow list of the DS registry settings.
try to go to regedit (if possible)
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREPalestar
look if its there and if it is "right" click it and select [Permissions],
Look if your user or your User group has atleast read access to it.
There are some other locations, you might want to look in the registry;
(Tanks go to FattieRob, his Registry fix file tells us where.)
The other locations
A administrator might have installed the game but if your user has no access to these registry settings than whats the point of having it installed.
But if you don't have access than ask your administrator to give it to you (ask for Full access to these locations). When you got access try again, if no yet working and you have full access try FattieRob's Registry fix once more.
