When I click on the validate email link, it just gives me a black screen. any suggestions?

I still have not heard from anyone on this issue. When I check it still shows not validated and it still gives me a black screen when I try to have it validate me.

have you tried validating it outside of DS lobby (IE: using internet explorer, or firefox)
and if you ARE doing it with IE/firefox......try it inside DS.

I have tried it with firefox, IE and inside DS lobby (however that uses IE also). All get the same black box pop up with nothing in it that i can read. It appears to be trying to use java (if I look at view source), but for some reason it isn't working. I will note however, in the black box, I can see on the right side, scrollbars, but they are unmovable and almost blend in with the black box completely.

An Admin will look into at their earliest convenience. Sometimes they have to toggle the validation on their end

If you only have a black screen then you probably have a pop-up stopper turned on. That is why you dont get the pop-up screen

No thats not what it is. When I click on profile, it automatically opens a new window with my information in it and the buttons to reset stuff and validate my email. A popup blocker would have stopped that page from coming up also. The only popup blocking I have is what is in both IE and Firefox and neither one of them give any messages that the sight was trying to open a window and it was blocked. The fact that it happens in both IE and Firefox, tells me there is something else wrong and it may be on the server end or that maybe their applet requires a specific version of java that I am not running on my machine.
Although I have now gotten some help with it, so I guess I am at least fixed for now =)

Glade to hear your fix. Look forward to you shoting me. Update your Java for the future though. It may fix any other problems you might encounter.

I already have the latest version of java btw. I let it auto update. What I was saying is maybe that applet needs a specific version of java. dont know though, just happy its fixed =)

I am having the same problems to validate my email too can I get some help I have the same issue as this guy. I get a blank page when I validate my email.

okay i just had the same problem with the whole black screen and stuff make sure your email is typed correctly because i tried to validate it when i was missing the y in tromars@gmail.com... trying to validate this was hard since it was wrong...
if it is wrong correct it, save changes then try and validate it... gl on it thou
