I cant connect to the lobby |

i try to connect and it just comes up with a problem and needs to close
and this is what the error says.....
AppName: gcql.exe AppVer: 1.0.0.1 ModName: kernel32.dll
ModVer: 5.1.2600.2180 Offset: 0000a258
i dont know what any of it meens because ive never seen stuff like this befor can anyone help me.

Then I'd take a guess at either of the following.
#1 You downloaded 1.482, and not 1.483.
#2 You don't have an up-to-date DX install.
#3 You've modified Windows (or it's been modified with spyware/virus'/malware), or running GCQL on an unsuported platform.

Easy, just install windows somewhere clean...Install drivers for soundcard, video card, motherboard drivers and modem...Install nothing else except maybe antivirus then install Darkspace and see if it works...If it doesnt then you're the unluckiest bugger on this planet...Or its a hardware thing which i think is rare...

the error is to do with "gcql.exe AppVer: 1.0.0.1" has any one had any errors with it befor and fixed it ive tryed loads of stuff and i dont know what to do next so if anyone can help.

If you've uninstall darkspace and removed the directory, then reinstalled it, and it still crashes, then I don't think anyone will be able to help you  . Most probably it's to do with your Windows install, or something effecting the way GCQL is trying to run (try closing any virus scanners, etc).

thanks again but ive tryed all that it might be because it crashed when i was in a game and didnt log off like u should but i dont know why i am still logged on tho any way im starting up a new profile and see if it works then anyway thanks to every one who helped
