I redeemed my coupon and then I went to connec to a server. My prestige didn't update and my credits dropped back down to 900k. I waited a while connected to a server again and my prestige updated, but the credits are not showing up.

Oops, I thought I did, must have gotten confused, I lost 500k, which is how much the coupon gives you.

Yeah, I checked the log and you should indeed have had 1.4 mil credits. I bumped you up to the correct amount.
