Something is obviously wrong with my pc. I can't log in at all!
I get the familar "cannot connect to server it may be down" message yet in forums i can see that other people are chatting in and playing in something/somewhere plz help!

I don't think i have disabled norton but I am goin through a proxy server. They may have blockeds the client. Is there any way I can get around this or disable it?

yes. My mum is doing a uni course so we get free internet but they may have noticed what most of the bandwidth was actually being allocated for....
I don't know if it helps but a lot of the pictures (like sigs) aren't showing up on my pc. they have the little red cross. I think it might be cookies but the security is only on medium. Darkspace Asia client also says that the server is down

It's probably the fact that most players don't know to help... hopefully Grif or someone else who deals with this on a regular basis will see this thread and help you out.

Interesting to note that there are over 140 views for this topic but most of the posts are my own! Oh well. Hellza/Hector will be using my account till I sort myself out.

and if it helps at all: MSN won't let me run games. It lags too much! Thats on MSN messenger. anyone know how I can check what usin my modem?

Reinstall did nothing. Still no help from anyone. I'm so glad I am a PAYING player. there goes somethin like 3 months of payed for playtime.
