Help me with my text! *Solved* |

Alright, I installed a new video card in my computer, a Radeon 9200. Before I had a TNT2. With this change, I raised my DS resolution to 1024x768. (I always ran other games at this resolution, but not DS since it was to graphic intensive.)
Because of the higher resolution, the ingame text is now smaller. Unfortunately, whether as a result of the change in size or some other issue, my text now looks all wavey and is barely legible. (Almost like the text is using the IMPACT font)
I have toggled alpha fonts, I have played with my driver D3D settings, I have switched from 16-32 bit modes, no change. I am attaching 2 Screen Shots so that you can see what I mean.
Any suggestions on how to resolve this problem would be most welcome.
P3-700, 768 Mb Ram, 20 Gb Disk Space, Windows 2000, Radeon 9200 AGP video card. That's should be all the info you could possibly need.
Thanx.

OMG! I lowered the resolution to the normal 800x600 I normally used with my TNT2, and the problem is still there. Look at this text and how screwed up it is!
If anyone knows what the problem is or how to fix this, please let me know!

Did that as soon as I installed the card.

Check your Anti-Aliasing options in regular video card settings. That could be a reason why? Or update to the latest drivers if you haven't already.

*PROBLEM SOLVED*
I want to thank White Haven for helping me track down the problem.
For whoever is interested, there is a Direct3D Compatibility section for ATI video cards in the 3D tab under advanced display settings. In this section, there are 2 specific options "Alternate Pixel Center" "Support DXT Texture Formats". These options needs to be DISABLED. If enabled, you will end up with text like mine.
