Fix for Connection problems |

If you are experienceing Connection problems with GCQL, here is a fix for you.
1. Open your DS folder usually located C:Program FilesPaleStarDarkSpace
look for Config.ini. Open that file.
2. You will see something like this at the top,
[GCQL]
AcceptedEULA=1
DoUpdate=1
ChatBufferSize=
Add this line to the very top,
[GCQ]
metaAddress=jupiter.palestar.com
Now the file should read something like this,
[GCQ]
metaAddress=jupiter.palestar.com
[GCQL]
AcceptedEULA=1
DoUpdate=1
ChatBufferSize=
Save the file, and log in

Fixed it for me, thanks.
If GCQL can reset Update to 1 everytime it runs, can it e told to add that line?

I'm assuming this is basically because you're temporarily changing the metaserver to the beta client in preperation for the stress test? Just making sure this is only a temporary thing.

Isn't Smartupdate able to add single lines to any file?
Why dont you add those 2 lines by Smartupdate?
