Ummm Microsoft doesn't want me. Anyone able to install 10? Doran's link has disclaimers if you're not in the first waves. I want my Start button back.

Finally finished updating the four computers here, and three at my moms. The Microsoft Media Creation Tool works for the impatient. The disclaimer seems to be from people trying to install windows 10 as a clean boot. Something with Windows 10 sometimes not being able to read the Product key off the motherboard if the hard drive is formatted.
A couple workarounds are to 'Upgrade' first, then reinstall Windows 10 inside windows 10. You can also reinstall your original operating system, and leave your PC as an upgrade to 10.

I did too for my moms house to bring over since she has super slow internet. No one told me about the Microsoft Media Creation Tool till I saw it on Gizmodo or Lifehacks how to skip the wait.
