before you hate me, please realize this is not to replace the original DS

it's more like possible extension to make money to fuel the original DS dream

---

After seeing several attempts on 'space' MOBA

I came to conclusion DarkSpace would be great platform for MOBA alike setup

maps could be within system or multisystem

AI waves would be easy
AI transports would be delivering equipment/upgrades

classes and ship-types already fits MOBA 'specializations'

like tank, support, ranged, fighter etc.

DS advantage could be it can handle easily 4-32 players for MOBA fray

---

plus put DarkSpace + DS : MOBA on STEAM , 150 million user market

i want to to point out that this game is a sandbox style setup and changing the entire motives of the game would make many new rules new codes new everything that the only thing that would be the same is the maps and the ships probably it seems very unlikly for this to ever happen in a game that seems like it still being developed lol

This is actually quite possible as an extension to the game... provided there was a live and kicking modding community. What you need to understand is that modifications like this are commonly created by the people who not only love the game to it's bones, but also have the ability to see and change it in just the right way. That's how Dota ( and the entire MOBA genre ) came to be in the first place.

We can make DS another Pirate Kings: dice - build your planet; dice - destroy other planet; dice - defend your planet; dice - customize your ship; dice - switching cluster... and get on top of app store.
I always doubt myself how come a anti-brain game like Pirate King being so popular. Maybe brain activities are not allowed during relax time for thousands of people... or perhaps facebook invitation spamming is overwhelming in this era.
Or, PC game is no longer favored.

Doubt the Medusa engine could support it.

Sounds like a reasonable way to provide income while the actual game is being developed.
