Fix planet defense or nerf bombs! |

This is uber lame now, idk about other factions but K'luth cba to build defense on most planets ((just mines and a star port).
It takes so long to build a planet(half hour+?), yet it takes me a minute (two mins for ICC, planet shields) or less to completely render enemy planets useless.
And on-top of that, constant MV resets (scen) means that all the time building/capping that planet is wasted anyway.
Oooh had a brainwave.
Or you could hugely nerf build times and make population ect increase instantly as the building has been built. (not recommened,lol)
And no, i'm not going to buy build drones.
I miss that defense when i first started playing, such OP, good times, such lag.

Well if we didn't have those Sidge Torps you love so much, plats would def just fine.

No, plat spamming isn't the answer and siege torps were the solution to that. Planets are fine; build them better. The game now has a 5 day focus. Complete the game and it restarts. Planets have always been able to be capped by; bombing the inf and dropping inf. You dont even need to orbit them for this to happen...

Siege Torpedo is only available when you already have a planet to switch gadget. It is unavailable when you have zero planet.
Platform spam is not a matter due to 30 limit number. There is always at least one planet without any protection. AI transport seems to be the only factor to PD bombs.

They can't even defend against 1 bomb...
I often build def2 bases but now i just cba to build any because they do not work!
On a side note, off2 bases have 'ok' damage, peel ICC shields nicely xD

Perhaps you may want to adjust the condition of defense base.
Bomb II is a pretty much useless defense structure with stupidly high requirement: 5 workers & 20 power.
Defense structure works proportioningly to technology level. Perhaps lower the reprequisite tech is a good deal.

+1 well jst on planets def being a bit well crap ai dont care if they do a one way trip but if they drop inf and hang around enough damage is done, ai need a new role of defence only s planets arent so easily capped.
