So, having just reinstalled Darkspace again recently, I noticed that getting some good old fashioned fights over real-estate is hard. (The MV layout is partly to blame for this.)

I also know that quite a few people enjoy scenarios but rarely have anyone to play with. So I'm going to try to take a template from what the group I'm in for PR:BF2 does, only we have an actual scenario server with pre-built scenarios to use!

Basically, Sunday becomes the day people are encouraged to hop onto the Scenario server instead of the MV server. By having a preset day where people can congregate, you can increase player density on that day (and it can then bleed out to more activity in general through the week). Furthermore, by condensing the play area (Scenario server's system instead of the large, sprawling MV), player density is increased which helps with player-to-player contact, which is what drives an MP game.

Lastly, Scenario is just fun and competitive, the latter of which is a bit lacking on MV atm. You have a goal; Win the round. And it gives people more chances to experience the full range of DS, rather than just Dread-to-Dread combat, which can become a bit stale.

Soooo. This coming Sunday (9/22/13) will be the "trial run" of this thing.

I'd like to hand out some "gentlemen's rules". Obviously, they can't be enforced, but I would like to encourage people to follow them to make everyone's gameplay more enjoyable.

-In 4-hour scenario maps, please leave engies alone during the first 30 minutes. In 2 hour maps, please leave them 15 minutes so both sides can get started up. Also goes for their first planet (unless it's an objective planet, than free game).

Sounds like a good enough reason to play. I'm in.

Drakelings. There is a steam group for it that is publicly open for joining. We play PR:BF2 atm, but Blue wants to also start Planetside 2 groups (hopefully my laptop can handle it, don't have the desktop I used before..)

Note, Next Scenario starts in 2 hours, 30 minutes. I'd like to start the Scenarios off then, unless you want to hop in now.

Planetside 2? Heck yea, it's an awesome game. Feel free to look me up if you need an extra man/vehicle in that game. I usually float around Connely server on Esomir. Viseage is the name. See you around!
