Taking a line from Star Wars:
So i come back to DS after a year in a desolate wasteland to find some significant changes have been made. UGTO heavy armour has taken some significant debuffs, ICC shields have aquired a substantial buff, and most suprisingly Worm Holes dont work inside an interdictor field!!! WHY does my Worm Hole Drive not work inside an interdictor field? I was under the impression the whole reason the worm hole drive exist was for the fact of instantaneous travel uninhibited between two points. With its many advantages, its disadvantages lie in the fact that an enemy ship can follow you and its not 100% accurate. Why then does it need to be disabled by a dictor field. Please DEV's recitfy this the Worm Hole Drive was balanced just the way it was no change needed. If there was naother reason please bring it to light.

hey achilles...
dont accuse devs of sabotaging your/only your WHD
the WHD has >3< limitations
1) it has a max range (200kgu for command dreads, 300k for stations)
2) unlike the standard jump drive, wormhole drive has a minimum range of 2k gu
3) even more unlike the JD, WHD will not, innocently speaking, allow you to collide with planets. if you open a WH to a planet, and the opening ends up inside/too close to a planet or star, it self-destructs 
add to that a 4) WHD opens a worm hole infront of your ship, about 50 gu from the edge of your hull. limitation (3) applies to this opening WH aswell.
so tell us achilles,
what went wrong?

I apologize if my tone came off as accuseing, but I just felt that one of UGTO favorite weapons took a major hit. Really i just would like an explanation as to why the WHD had to be disabled [now] by the Dicto field.

I just tested using the WHD in the MV, and I had no problems with it. I was in a line station and jumped from kona directly into the interdictor of peron, which was owned by the kluth at the time, then left peron through another wormhole which was also opened inside of peron's interdictor that was aimed towards tarnak.
