How come in Beta, the CD is a Beast and the CC is a MLP? CD gets mines beams torps and cannons! CC gets beams and fighters, Boo..

brood is slightly better but still outclassed by the CD

As it stands right now the Command Carrier is pretty useless in that it cannot hide, tank damage, repair, or fight. It's bassically a golden engineer with fighters. Wish it would get revamped, but I'm personally happy with the Combat Dread an Assault Dread. Not really sure what changes could be done to make it more effective. Take off some fighters and replace them with guns? Just a thought.

I have brought this up, numerous times... it never goes anywhere. Everyone seems to agree that the CC is useless, but no one seems to care. I say, at least change half the beams on it to HCL, and maybe throw on an ion cannon or two...

I'm not happy with Command Carrier. For a command dread class, which is suit to join a battle, I prefer it has 2 mining beams, 3 build drones instead of 3 mining beams and 2 build drones. I like 4 fighters and some cannons because CC will join the capturing race, it should have direct and fast weapon to deal with medium ships while being able to bomb a planet. Why should CC have 6 fighters to become a long range ship when ICC already has Missle dread? I also prefer 1 scanner to 3 ECM because you can't hide a dread with 3 ECM, even inactive shield is off. Plus 1 scanner is also helpful when you need to bomb a planet from far away. Maybe less than current 9CL to save rooms for 3 mines would be best.
In the meantime, UGTO command dread fight like a violent orge and ICC Command carrier fight like a mysterious ninja.

Maybe they can't really balance the CC/brood/krill the way they want to at this time, so for now they are more on the useless side for sake of balance?
We also have to remember command auras.
But they better be good in order to make up for the uselessness of the CC

Well if they would stop nerfing ships that we spend our hard earned time getting, then it would be the way it should be. I didnt put in 1,366 hours into this game to have weak ships... They used to own. Now its like they all have water balloons... ICC CC lol weak, Krill LOL!!! Seriously. Give us some power. I am all about using HC/Scale/BC, dessys, and whatnot. But, you guys have to give us some power... Im about to subscribe and still buy enh, but not if all these ships that make me want to play are just weak...

Persoanly the sort of setup i would like to see would be:
HMA x1
IE Drive x4
Composite Armour x4
Active Shields x4 (or maybe even Composite Armour x0 and Active Shields x8 that might be fun )
Mining Beam x1 (or 2)
Ecm/Eccm x2 (or scanner x1)
Weapon Systems;
Any Fighters x4
Chemical Beam Lasers x6 (2x forward 90 degree mount 2x 360 degree mount 1x 180 degree mount left/forward 1x 180 degree mount right/forward)
1x Ion cannon (90/180 degree forward mount)
6-8x Railgun (Not sure how they would be mounted)
4-2x Heavy Railgun (Not sure how they would be mounted)
With this sort of setup the ship would be at least viable in long-mid range combat up close it wouldbnt be as good as its lacking torpedos or a large ammount of core weapons/beams i dont know if all those weapons would fit or if there would be room for more but personaly ide like this setup not sure how it would play out with just shields i was thinking large boarder crusier with fighters/build drones
