Ive noticed recently ppl are abusing AI to cap planets. I remember ive red that you guys removed ai from capping planets and still i see them there helping players. What is going on?

You can't command AI. They go there of their own accord.

if a player use Ctrl+h AI will follow him and if someone is doing that for a couple of minutes and theres no more then 3 players he can gather a nice army of AI.

When an was controllable we ha to deal with your tactic of surrounding yourself with every ai in the server for months.
I'm sure your stat spam can handle it.

Agreed with Flash, we are now back to being able to gather AI by just spamming distress and waiting for them to come to you, then go to the planet you want to cap.

the only time I've seen k'luth have a bunch of AI with them is when we were capping our planets back last night other then that I've only seen ugto and icc do this and I've even said so when i was playing telling them how it was like when you could command AI before they took it out.
Having luth use a bunch of ai is against our tactics and we don't really like to use it.

I understand the problem with ai, im just saying that ugto abused it much more than it is abused today.
Ai spam isn't as bad as it used to be but I agree it still can be used to gain unfair advantage

Just grab call distress a few times yourself and your own factions AI will come and help. Its a heck of a lot harder to grab an ai army these days than it used to he when you could control them.

i try not to rely on ai, but it gets annoying if you bombed a planet, transported infantry, get combat to kill hte ai that persistently orbit the planet and refuse to leave, fight the continuous ai spam untill planet is capped,
only to see 15 min later some player dread with an ai field caps it back within 10 minutes, then leaves the ai field at the planet and grabs a bomber to remove inf.
to match forces, a player would have to distress to gather its own ai force. with the removal to order ai, but maintaining the distress option, just the time it takes to gather the forces is reduces, but the original tactics still apply: grab an ai field and orbit planets.
a solution would be a suitable escort for a certain ship rank. Like distressing in a gunboat can call upon 1-2 frigates max, and a distress from a station can call upon 1 dread and 2 cruisers max. that way the size of ai field is limited by the number of players trying to command the ai.
bad part is that the last part is kinda against ai purpose: give the faction with low player numbers a fighting chance. But its the best solution i can think of. If ur planets are under attack you can distress for 2 cruisers in a dread, the rest of ai fleet might come to defend the 2 cruisers u distressed for, and/or the planet that is under attack, so defensive purposes are intact, but for offensive purposes the ai size is limited by number of players

Jump drive is only refilled by planet or platform. Hence when an AI is out of jump drive and is somewhere around the space, they're stuck.
Does AI know when it has to get back to planet?
The suspicious issue should be fixed if supply drone can refill jump drive drone.

At least you guys have decent AI. Luth has an elite dread and an elite cruser, and mostly Parasite AI. UGTO gets an elite Dread and an elite destroyer. ICC get two elite destroyers, and one of them only lays crappy mines.
And some luth do spam AI. Have had a few times where a luth cloaked near fleets and spam AI until we have to fall back. Another reason cloak is starting to get annoying...
