Increase in gain of pres while fighting against ai? |

I think an increase of pres gain while fighting ai would help with keeping more players online. I think that because a lot of people logg on and think that since there aren't any players online they log off and after a while players even end up losing the desire of logging on and checking to see if there are players on in the first place. I think that if you increased the amount of pres gained while fighting ai( not by too much) that it would help keep people entertained and make them want to stay online longer, and when more people stay online longer, more and more people will come and play, like a domino effect. What do you all think?

Raising pres gain on AI would lead to what we had before it was lowered where people would bitch about other players attacking them while they were trying to farm pres off AI. Since DS is team based pvp focused this would be counterproductive.

Grinding up to the first rank wwould go faster.
Whose idea was it to remove noob rep ship anyway!?

I think ai pres is balanced. It's high enough for low ranks to rank up fairly quickly low enough to prevent high ranks from gaining too much from ai.

I noticed a lot though especially at night my time(arizon time-whatever that is) that people log on only to find that there are no other players online and then they continue to log out. Most of this game is based off of fighting sadly, and when people end up being alone online they end up logging off. People end up getting bored or something and leave.

I actually rather there be less players when i play scenario, more ai ships to kill, and there much easier to kill bc they dont pull as many maneuvers as a player.
However i feel like the metaverse needs more players, and a lot of them. The game is team based but there arnt enough players to create significant teams.
I was reading up on wikipedia about darkspace and a lot of top game developers gave very good reviews of darkspace, saying it was one of the best games they have ever played, combining strong sci-fi elements, action, team oriented gameplay, and strategy almost flawlessly. The ONLY negative review i saw was that the game lacks players.
I have always felt this game packs a lot of potential, and that players should give it more time (be patient with the learning curve).
