Its down for testing some new code if i recall correctly.
Will not be up till its sorted out, someone willing to confirm?

Beta = Beta = Beta = Uptime Not Guaranteed.
Server might have crashed, Power failure, Internet down, Cat chewed on the UTP cable again or the/a administrator might have downed it.
I can't see anything related why it is down. but sometimes even we don't know why it is down. But it isn't a essential part of the game. And usually it will be back under a week.

Perhaps Valhalla looked at the Upcoming Events and didn't get why the beta hadn't shown up although the beta testing was now.
Maybe Beta Testing event should be deleted. It causes frustation like in Valhalla case. Nevertheless, it makes a few players think that only when the event is Now, the beta is up.
Players just launch beta when they see it in Servers tab and they are ready to test. We can get rid of beta event.
