VLC has issues with using the GPU memory when rendering videos.

Lenovo(AKA IBM) - IdeaCentre Desktop

Intel® Pentium® 2.7GHz Dual core

1333MHz System Bus

3MB Cache Memory

6GB DDR3 SDRAM Up To 8GB RAM DDR3 SDRAM

500GB Hard Drive SATA (7200 rpm)

Intel® HD Graphics 2000

Double-Layer DVD±RW/CD-RW

Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit

Is this enough to play DarkSpace?

This game cant fry a graphics card. The only way your GPU can fry is if it's not cooled properly, and that's a fault with the manufacturing. Windows will crash before a graphics card 'fries' usually, and we don't do enough GPU rendering to get a graphics card that hot (unless, as I stated above, your case is cooled poorly, in which case all games will do the same).

I was using an ATI RADEON 9000 PRO

I just found out it was "Made In China"

We need to stop tradeing with them.

it has a heat sinc and a fan incase it goes out.
