i think it's time to update the manual. it out of date.
if you need help i can update it.
I thank the luth for the medal in caping part of there home system. That was my idea, and pay back for caping part of ours.
i think we need to get some testers in to beta because it seams the luth will be over powered then both ICC and Ugto. i nearly killed my friend in a dread with two shot from a siphon. and it took him longer to take down my armor. and he is saying that the ECCMs don't help at all. so i think something needs adjusting. i could be wrong but would like a dev to tell me so. thanks for fixing the WH bug. i love the names you gave all the ships. and the 30 sec timer works vary well thank you for that.
basically that it.

Isn't updating the Manual what the Wiki was made for?

Nothing balance-wise was changed except lowering UGTO armor HP, an increase to K'Luth cloak times on some ships, and Gauss Gun projectile speed - all of which are documented in the Dev Log.
So any changes you think you're experiencing other than that are purely nocebo. As mentioned above, the Wiki will slowly be taking over the manual in its functionality and desired effect.
As a note, the new cloaking system for K'Luth was temporarily removed whilst a bug is fixed. [ This Message was edited by: Pantheon on 2012-01-20 19:29 ]

ah ok just wanted to know. so when will the manual be removed so new players dont go there and get confuse with it.
and with the balance

All weapon damage (minus missiles and fighters) have had their damage reduced by 10%. Falloff on cannons has not been reduced by 10%, so as a result, UGTO and K'Luth cannons will not be as effective at long ranges.

i know what this was meant to do. it to make battles last a bit longer. but did it include beam weapon.
note. i just wanted to know not trying to ask for any changes just want some things cleared out. because something felt wrong. maybe it was the cloak timer. also im not trying to QQ about kluth ether if that what luth are going to say.

as if their lack of shielding and cloak wasnt enough to make up for their slightly stronger armor lol

The 30 sec timer is just going to be annoying.
If you dont like it when somebody avoid being killed by docking while you are shooting, him, just remember the same thing can happen to you.
Not being able to dock while somebody is shooting you, is removing another tactical move from the game.
Why not remove the ability to jump, while you ar at it?
Just warning, thats all.
It will be released in the next patch, no matter how many warnings you get.
Well, we shall see.

It's more aimed at the exploit of constantly docking while under fire to avoid losing your ship. Seriously, it's not a tactical move, it's a cheese move to do something like that

Sorry I disagree here.
Docking and respawning.. i call it extended hugging.
Its just unrealistic and a tactic that does not reward attacking.
Id rather have mass depots back, then sy abuse.
You almost kill a station and then it disapears and the same pilot spawns in a brand new Station?
Sure this can happen to every one, but i think at this point the invaders should have "won" and the defending Stat should retreat or die, not respawn.
Its not forbidden, so you can blame no one for doing it in combat, but some abuse it.
To Kluth:
I dont think they are too strong, they are just large in numbers + their Ai is nice.
Its always been like this: If a pack of Kluth Dreads have some nice teamwork it is hard to stop them.

raising UGTO's armor HP by 20-25% at the start of 670 was a really stupid, knee jerk reaction. I’m glad its getting back down to a more sensible number. Im just really sorry it took sooo damn long. This change killed my fleet after all.
It does not take a rocket scientist to see that +20% to one factions armor hp, especially in the face of the enhancement system, can really make that faction way over the top. Didnt take long before ugto figured out to spam def enh. Didnt take long after that for most of ICC to walk away.
So yes, from the bottom of my heart; Thank you Dev team. I have high hopes for the next version.

nah that isn't the case at all. A large part of our fleet got fed up after the 20% armor boost to ugto and stopped playing the game. nothing to do with recruitment at all.

Okay, which one of my UGTO brethren went and won a fight with a dev in a K'luth ship? Didn't they teach you never to do this? You see what happens? You see?!
