Which enhancements affect fighters? Do weapon multis affect fighter power? Do beam multis affect interceptor power? Do Coolers affect fighter fire rate? I'd love to know the answers to these.

I'm pretty sure wep plexors affect cannon class fighters. And i would assume beam plexors for interceptors also. idk about the rest

Speaking from pure guesswork at how the game is programmed and anecdotal hearsay from ages ago, I suspect that fighters might not benefit from the parent ship's enhancements. Not sure if they benefit from, say, reload speed increases either. I would wait for a development-type person to give a solid answer, though.
Personally I'm curious about this too, if only because I want to know which enhancements will let me launch fighters faster.

damage-oriented enhancements affect whatever the parent ship spawns. this consists of cannon shots, torpedoes, missiles, bombs, mines, lasers, and the fighter variants of each.
fighters are objects spawned by ship objects and contain a weapon/device object. by hierarchy, ship>fighter>cannon/torpedo/missile/laser/bomb/mine/drone/eccm/scanner
no enhancement exists for the purpose of reducing the cooldown time of fighter devices OR for reducing the energy consumed during cooldown of fighter devices. Yet (???)
on a side note, are there plans for introducing enhancements which affect scanners, ECM and ECCM? a certain someone would like ECM enhancements...

Weapon Condenser is your choice when it comes to fighter.

Word of God tells me that fighters are classed as projectile weapons, and the fighters themselves inherit enhancement bonuses from their parent ship.
So things that boost cannons will improve fighters.

Even interceptors that use beams? As odd as it seems I guess it does make sense; the fighter itself is the projectile.

Stay with weapon condenser for fighter.
But, trust me, all ships that have fighter gadgets ain't worth equiping weapon condenser.
