maybe it wouldve been better if people actually took time to rebuild their planets instead of jumping straight back into battle... but we was up till all the wee hours in the morning building everything back

worst patch ever, good to see the staff of this game are intune with faction concepts. icc got buffed a wee bit too much, ugto dreds are even easier to kill, and luth are weak armor and no regen forces us to play like ugto, take a few hits, then jump out and repair for up to 5 mins. way to go staff. yall once again have out done your selves.

The way it is now with ships having their layouts specify certain roles, not every ship is going to be good for every situation. Something to keep in mind.

get over it already... you should have tested more...

So let me tell you the strong point of your faction since i DID go test.

You with minimal recourses can field and indefinite number of dread class ships in deep space for a near indefinite amount of time.

Those ships can then repair and attack every 15 mins. (every ship in your fleet can be repaired and ready to go every 15 mins!

Human ships come no where near this efficiency. By using hit and run tactics you can widle down your opponents into submission.


(please don’t be scaired humans. You have your strengths as well)

K’luth are more true to form hit and run now. Granted you cannot do micro hit and run attacks like you all still want to. None of us can fight the way we used to! Time to learn the new, and if I do say so myself, better rules of the game.

I think ugto and kluth now have to change their stratigys and thats what they are upset about. although i also had to chang a few things about my ships to. oh and borgie if you say that icc is strong then why the hell did you follow me and kill me jest to say. that we are not strong and that was the most weakst move ever distroying a ship with only 10 hull left when it jumps out you prick.

So a bug with AHR was fixed, I suppose that's going to make some Kluth players complain like some UGTO players complain about depots being reworked. All factions got the same comparable ship layouts, the only "buffs" that ICC got were shield rotation giving 20% instead of just 10, and Reactives getting a boost in damage resistance which was needed to make them worth anything.

ICC ships still die as quickly as before when focused on and have less damage output overall than comparable UGTO and Kluth ships, but since shields regenerating faster than armor actually has a point now, and support stations can't be spammed to create an invincible armada people are going to have to rethink how to fight. I saw quite a few UGTO players using Destroyers and Frigates last night, and doing quite well at that, so at least we know there's a few people who can think outside the box.

ICC Vs Kluth

UGTO Vs ICC
ICC Vs UGTO


I never did any ugto on kluth battles...

any perspective on these?

Yeah, prolonged engagements are gonna really center on a proper mix of ships, all across the spectrum of classes.

Yes, i agree with this patch, but i still beleave that K'Luth should still have armor regen, After all, it is ORGANIC armor, ICC has defense mode that repairs there sheilding. UGTO have nothing, and K'Luth Arent really ORGANIC anymore, You'd think that K'Luth would have some type of armor regen....Since there organic..
