i've been poking around pirate systems for a few days. now i cant find that pirate asteroid anymore. last i know was in lacaille, somewhewre near cydex and lopez. does anyone have any information on that matter? what is good to know about pirates?
one other thing, their elites are really rare. i meet 1 in 2 hours. why's that?

You won't see it until you're close enough for it to be in sensor range, so it doesn't show on the map until you get near it.

in beta the pirate system if thats wat your talkin bout when i was there wit kubro i had the same pirate elite attack me id kill one then a minute later it wud come again and id kill it again it was werid but yea thats just me

Beta is different from MV, in MV you're lucky if you see one of those elites every couple hours, same with the single Nautilus that spawns in RR.

You can access a map of the entire Metaverse by clicking the 'Servers' link on the left. Click on Orion, and zoom in on any system by clicking it. Zoom in on Lumar, then on Zheph or Cuzto (sitting far out on their own) to find the asteroid.

It's the Pirate homegate, if you're REALLY bored you can camp it to see when the elites respawn.
