I think we should have a minimium amount of construction requirements before your allowed to touch any kind of planet MV.. Like have new people build in scenario before being allowed to mess with planets. I'm tired of new people coming in and messing up planets because the planet was unlocked the night before or something and not locked again. Especially when new players come in and de-activate a ship yard because theres a battle going on in another part of the area. Or people purposely scrapping planets with no reason to do so. Just getting tired of new people being engineers and messing up planets just because they can... Anyways thats my 2 cents

Wouldn't be that bad a suggestion if scenario wasn't killed off.

this would just annoy and confuse new players who already have a hard time getting started in this game, plus everyone knows your just rageing now you sead it yourself in your post so i doubt the mods will even comment on this post for that reason alone

incorrect i managed to spawn a dread from a barran thanks to the new shipyard system any planet can support any ship if you got people decicated to mining and 100 tech on it.

such a screwed up world we live in should have kept the old resoure system

and by the old system i mean 1.4 resource system where every planet had extreme stragtic value should role back to the old lock system as well just make it that it always rolls back to first rear or vice when their is noone else of higher rank for mv (go bite my head off if you wish but i end up rebuilding planets because some noob removes 5 to 6 defence bases and leave the planet wide open in mv to slap depots on it SERIOUSLY WHY BOTHER)

Hey I have a suggestion...

instead of bitching about how new players dont know how to build planets, or how they mess stuff up all the time, or cant/dont/wont adhere to the conventional 'wisdom' about building, maybe the so-called, self-named vets, try teaching the newbies how to build, build better, build different. and i dont mean "do it this way, do it like this, dont ever ever do this other thing", educate them.

"typically, well-developed planets include these basic structure because..."
"planets you're going to put a ship yard on needs this much in the way of tech because..."
"we try to avoid putting defense bases on the equator because..."

or you know, just keep locking planets above their rank, tell them to go screw up planets somewhere else or shove them out of the way and do it for them while complaining about their ineptitude. cause that's workin out just peachy.
