I would mess with the settings here:
C:\GCQL\.cache\darkspace\darkspaceclientsetup.exe
There might be a setting conflicting with your grapics card.
And as a rule of thumb: if you experience graphics trouble, upgrade your graphics card drivers. In my experience, it usually does nothing, but it can cause problems from time to time.
