I play my game on a rex of 1920x1080, wich makes the chat text very smal, in fact too small for me to read, i lways have to get out of my chair and closer to read.
Is it possible to change the font size of the chat text in game ?
sorry, not every got Pilot grade eye's  ( HighDef makes it blurry a bit too >.<)

funny, its fine at 1650x1080. maybe you need glasses?

im not at 1650, im at 1920, or maybe i didnt say that loud enough?
Sorry Doran, but your plain insulting at this point, coming from an admin on top of that
all i was asking if it was possible to change the font settings so i can read better, a simple question, not anything else, please keep it at that

Same here, play on big screen in theatre room, the chat is barely legible.

Is it difficult to increase the font size, either automatically or as an added option in the setup menu or some such? What is the reason for the refusal (?) to change this, or at least the lack of respect with which this request is handled?

No refusal, just a observation. got me a 1600x1200 and i can read it just fine as well. Heck i got GCQL font size on 7 and i can read that.
Respect? oo don't dare to answer that due to that my opinions always end bad. Lets just say Staff are human, and they have little space that allows Humor or fun, please don't hate us..
But the request has been submitted to the developers. We hope we get a positive reply.

If we add a choice to the ingame option menu, it shouldn't be an insanely difficult change to implement. @Eledore > Thanks for adding it to Mantis.
