ive been asking alot of other players lately in scenario about a progress bar on the HUD somewhere about the ship you have in queue, so people can see how far they are from having their ship out of the queue



makes sense right?

I totally Agree i mean.....Have you ever got a LS in Q but come to find out 1h later you have only 100k put in it it makes me mad

When I first saw this post I thought: A Progress Bar for EXP? *Shows XYZ F5*

Then I actually read it and I thought: Good Idea.

But to be honest I cant really say anything on this matter since I don't even play anymore.

Although I will pop into the MV from time to time I haven't had the issue of waiting on your "Said" ship in a q.

I cant even understand why they implemented this system without an indication on when or how much res you needed yo get your own ship out.

And an progress bar for prestige would be good to.

I think the current resource system is detrimental to the scenario game mode, it would be really nice if it could be tweaked.

I would love to see a progress bar for ships in the SY queue, Not so much a prestige progress bar that's as simple as pressing F5.

i believe this is for the same reason as not showing who put what ship into the queue.
so players don't get flaming mad or something.
but it would be nice to have one.
Also scen was what caught half the players b4, playerbase is recovering/has recovered but half of the rage quits back then was because scen was now barren

The scenario server was attractive because
-players had roles from start to finish
-clear objectives
-less idleness than MV
-less camping(for the most part)
-faster combat
-limited space, defined battle field
-more deepspace combat
-the drama of engi vs engi killers, who can get sy first, etc

Now scen is where you go to get bombing, tranny, ship caps, and engi pres, nothing more. Maybe for new people to farm AI.
My friend actually went from excited to bored when we were forced to play MV for some combat, and the idle periods of the mvs struck and he quit permanently.

A progress bar on your current ships in production in the ship selection screen is a reasonably good idea, if we can work out how to integrate it seemlessly to the current UI. I am not in favour of a progress bar in the tactical view though as it is not something that is relevant to combat itself.

This is a must because even the server message that your ship is done is far too easly lost in all the other gibberish that gets dumped into the chat log especialy if it comes up while you are in a dog fight. my vote is that you just use another F# key so that you can open it and close it when you need.

There a thread about that somewhere already? At risk of sending this thread wildly off topic, I'd say that we're more interested in using resources to control gameplay in the MV, and the ways to have them work together well are probably limited.. so without a good method for how to do so, I'd say tweaks are off the table for the moment.

Plus, new planetary system etc.
