anyone noiticed that the pirate stations tend not to shoot at you even if you are shoothing at them?

couldnt of been outta energy, i was in a BD and it shows up, i attack and it didnt shoot not once, i even killed it by myself because it didnt even shoot once the whole entire time

it really should learn how to manage its energy better that or a couple more aux reactors could be added so its a a bigger threat

It most likely already had another target in it's sights. Possibly something in another system. AI seem to egnore just about everything else around them once they have their mind set on something.
They do have terrible energy issues tho. I can normally take one out with my EAD from point blank (if its moving at full speed) since it runs out of energy before it can kill me. It doesn't seem to regain any energy at all when its moving either...

I used to love listening to pirate stations when I was a kid, made me feel all rebelious and such -.-
