Interstellar News Service Report:
An ICC Intelligence Report has been leaked to the press. In it, details concerning the presence and capabilities of a rumoured new species are given. Following is the intel report
Subject: MI
Here is the summary you asked for.
General - All MI vessels have very high top speeds and turn rates. Active repair systems on all ships also account for a very fast repair rate of MI armour. Their primary weapon is a fast moving projectile weapon with very long range. It does a great deal of damage on impact. The lack of anti-matter based weapons outside of this has been perplexing, as it is known that K'luth utilize MI anti-matter technology in some of their weapons, and it was presumed these were transferred directly as there has been no evidence that K'luth are able to engineer anything with a technological base. MI vessels have also been observed using a very high density laser weapon which surpasses any known chemical laser calibrations.
Physiology - Except for [Redacted].
Transit - MI appear able to access the jumpgate network at whim. Where they are originating is thus unknown, as they are able to link to any jumpgate from their original position. It also appears that they are able to project the jumpgate destination away from the jumpgate itself. Our scientists have no idea how this is possible. Lastly, they are able to move entire fleets simultaneously through this system. When the MI access a jumpgate, power fluctuations are clearly evident for several minutes beforehand, and such fluctuations appear to correlate to the size of the fleet being moved. Single ships appearing directly out of the jumpgate do not create fluctuations that would fall outside of those normally expected due to tachyon interference. Outside of this, MI tend to move extremely fast, but do not appear to make common use of jumpdrives.
Weapons - See attached document for weapons specifications. Of most recent note however, MI have begun deploying a planetary bombardment weapon. When deployed from orbit, this weapon instantly vaporizes everything on the surface of the planet. The only apparent defense available is to intercept the deployment vehicle before it reaches orbit. Current planetary defenses are apparently unable to breach MI armour or stop the weapon from being deployed.
Vessels
Supply vessel "Forager" - Large drone supply, rarely seen. Possibly has cloaking capability.
Transport "Conveyor" - Same format as forager. Appears similar design is used for ground troops and repair drones. To date [Redacted] is our only evidence of [Redacted]. As such, no conclusions can be offered regarding [Redacted]
Cruiser type 1 "Legion" - Most common observed. Appears to have cloaking capability
Cruiser type 2 "Praetorian" - Orange markings differentiate from type 1. Uncertain as to difference between type 1 and type 2 vessels at this time. Some reports suggest that this vessel has a planetary bombardment weapon.
Dreadnaught "Longhead" - See attached document for weapons analysis. Reports confirmed that this vessel has a planetary bombardment weapon.
Station type 1 "Nexus Node" - See attached document.
Station type 2 "Nexus" - No exact details as to what differentiates type 1 and type 2 stations. Nexus is much larger in size. Some reports suggest it acts as a communications hub of some sort. On one occasion a Nexus was observed egressing a combat theatre, and then returning shortly after fully repaired. No explanation can be offered for this report.

umm, i thought that praetorians were the only ones with the cloak, and why did it take ICC that long to get a "leaked" report on the MI when UGTO and K'luth alerady had a fulll understanding

Dealt with. Had to blow up the entire building, but I framed someone up to look like a K'luth spy. Hunter-killers worked like a charm, and I set some to "loiter" in case someone kept a copy off-net. Pretty sure there aren't any digital copies left in the public domain.
Incidentally, "invisibility cloak" worked perfectly. Would buy again. I'll write up a report when I get back. Shame I had to use it to kill civillians.
Suspect ICCI won't be happy that we're treading on their turf, but hey, orders.

You could always blow up the big boss. He's the one giving the "kill everyone" orders.
