so i know that the gaifen spawns in teh lutyem mist, but does it have like a nest or something that shows where it spawns?

No; a random number are spawned in a random interval within a randomized area. All "random"s have certain bounds (ie, 3-7 but the actual number is random), but generally speaking we try to keep them vaguely unpredictable to cut down on effortless farming.
Also, the singular and plural of gaifen are gaifen.

I thought gaifens's were spawn when Shig thinks really really hard and one pops out and hatches. I may be wrong.

Aren't gaifen "neutral" in that thier target diamonds are yellow and therefore give no prestige when you shoot them?
Tested this out once months ago and gained no prestige off of fighting them. So not much use farming them (unless they drop enhancements?) .

They give around 9 pres per gaifen and do drop some pretty good enh if you're on a low budget. (up to standard enh)

the gaifen cannot be farmed, they have not been domesticated yet and thus we will have to hunt for gaifen.
