Anyone else get the same problem? For example sometimes when i go through a transfer gate the mouse cursor becomes stuck in the top left hand corner and the only way for me to fix it is to restart my laptop.

sometimes when i minimize the game it will do it to me, but when i expand the game and click it usually fixes it. Perhaps you could try the opposite, try minimizing ds and cliking and see if that free's the mouse.

Using ALT+TAB will normally fix this, you may have to press it several times to cycle through your applications back to darkspace....

This happens to me sometimes when i get DC'd. Without the mouse theres no way for me to click "reconnect" and no matter what I try I can't get it unctuck without restating my computer .
The only (partial) solution I have found to this is restarting windows and clicking the cancel button when windows (sometimes) gives me the option because it relizes a program is still open.
I'm running Vista and knowing it has a few problems of it's own, I'm wondering what OS's others having this problem are running? Is this problem secluded to Vista or for other OS's aswell?

I run XP SP3 and I've never had this problem. The only issue I have with the mouse cursor sticking is occasionally in ship select or F2 it'll disappear, but if I click a couple times it comes back.

I believe u r thinking of a completly different bug...
There is times where in F2 my mouse gets stuck, infact, it happens on a daily bacis, but theres also a bug where it gets stuck in the top left corner of the screen. No matter what is clicked or if i switch tabs, put my computer to sleep, or even hibernate, it doesn't solve the problem. The mouse appears to be invisible while running DS then when u alt+tab out or close DS it shows it stuck in the top left corner unable to do anything but click the one icon in that corner and twitch when the mouse is moved untill i restart windows.
