So im trying to get to 1st rear admiral to fly a real cruiser, since ive decided the missle cruiser is worse than the combat destroyer, and im about 1k prestige away. My goal is to get all that tommorrow, which im sure you guys think is redicuously easy, but its not for me :0
Ive been told supplying is a very good way to get pres ( and if i get the silver one i get the carrier cruiser(btw is that any good?))
But i also tend to get lots of pres just from killing the ai.
Which one in your opinions is the fastest way?

Suppying will give you less pres, however suppying in combat will give you valuable experience in PvP
Killing ai will give you lots of pres, but i don't recommend it, it gives you bad habits and 0 combat skill there fore you will not be good in PvP
carrier cruiser is pretty good, i think

Lobsters cloak before I can do anything anyway. No worries there. Also all I've been killing is ai... Guess I need to stop that...

Burn planets, switch factions, build planets, repeat.
Yes, this can be followed if you don't do this in unpopulated servers (home servers) so that others get a fair chance to stop you.
Also, if you go for the above, atleast make the planet challenging for you to burn, aka no cheating. Be honest with what you burn and what you build.

Uh, yeah, that's not really an approved strategy for prestige gain.

Also known as playing the system, not approved (as Shig stated), and will certainly get you banned.

Play scenario and build until people start popping out DNs, then switch to supply when they need repairs. Even if you suck at building you can always capture some out of the way barren that nobody cares about and build on it for the pres.

I found that getting in a heavy suppy and repping stations yielded a fair amount of pres and now a few station pilots owe me favors..
