the way credits work has been changed by a lot. since 2007 everyones credits have been recalculated based on subscription time.

Credits were removed entirely form the game about 2 years ago... they were recently added back about 6 months ago when the micro-payment system came online... they don't mean the same as the old stat.
I could have named the stat "Bucks" instead and you wouldn't even be complaining
