Hello fellow Darkspace players. I just wanted to ask why such a massive change of Darkspace game mechanics was changed. (For those don't know, spawning a ship takes up most of the planets resources, which takes 20 minutes to mine again.)
I would like to know why the developers want to focus on mining as the main mechanic of Darkspace. As of now, ships would rely on hoarding mass resources and grinding with extractors. I would understand if mining had any difficulty to it, such as finding asteroids that were fertile or not. I would also understand if mining gave prestige, as this would be something players would have to do alot more now that this mechanic has been brought back. The mining should also be alot faster if 150k plus resources are required to spawn a dread.
If anyone agrees with me, and would like the old fun darkspace back, feel free to comment.
