first of i haven't played in a while i have finals sorry for that but i just couldn't resist checking the dev log. read it cryed of joy and thought i should point it out to all.

- Added Defense Mode to ICC shields. When active, shields gain:
-- 4x regeneration
-- 8x energy drain
- Ship capture code fixed.
- Mining beam synchronization problem fixed, this should fix the cargo bug along with issues causing the client to crash when docking a bugged ship.
- Structure upgrade system fixed.
- Fixed issue with rapid fire weapons at low energy.


all hail big F for these things. they needed fixing and make the game a lot more fun. so kuddos to big F and all the dev's that helped on this.

If that really fixes the cargo bug then great update. The shield changes are nice too but that cargo bug.....well, bugged me more than slow shield regen.

Twas my idea, and Sens' idea, and many others idea. I did some code, Sens did some code, neither worked, and then Faustus did some code, and it did work.

There, credited properly.

sorry to burst alls yalls bubble wasn't this fatal commands idea jack, he had the idea of taking more power from shields to make em charge faster, insense thats what defence mode does?

We could crawl through lobby logs and forum chat, but I think there were a lot of people who contributed. We the players may have some cool ideas, but it's up to the developers to figure out how to make those work. "Scotty, divert power to shields!" has been around longer than many of us been alive.

Ideas are just ideas. U think it up, and whine/talk about it. But you didn't exactly DO it did you?

If a dev implements an idea that I thought up and suggested, I'll go "Thank you".... and not... "it was my idea!! I r0xor!"

Time to pull your heads out of your butts.





Anyway, good to hear that ship capping is back.

Time to cap some plats and AI for fun. LOL

IF Command is to be credited for the IDEa, then in this Case, the Entire ICC faction shoudl be credited for Starting to whine about this needed so call buff

nah..il stick with thankign the dev, its much faster and easier

His idea was that rotating a shield would take power from the reserves. Rather different than this method. Plus many shield methods have been thrown around in the past I've no doubt this has been suggested before. What I was originally claiming for, was the fact that I made it happen, etc. But nevermind.
