Vertical movement, Yes i said Vertical !
For too long has us Space warmongers flew on the Horizontal plane for amusment and Ambushs, it is time to Conquer the Vertical now.
The vertical plane has mocked us for too long, disrupting our bombing, and using Asteriods to laugh at us, I propose the ablity to freely float in space as the way we should.
We shall Conquer the Final Frontier !
But with limits.....
I dont say lets get too crazy with the vertical but rather a taste for later improvements ! xD
Moving up and down by atleast 500gu from the normal ( hopefully there would be a way to manage and determine the planes ). >_> ~_~ <_<
Why Vertical ? For Tatical Advangates of course( and because it looks cool floating over a moon) lol.

Nope. DarkSpace is designed around it's single plane of movement. Would require a re-design of every element of the game. Not to mention it looks utterly crap.

Only way we'd get to see this is if DarkSpace 2 was going to be developed... and that probably won't happen anytime soon. Heck... if they had the money they'd be making the game as we speak but alas I doubt we'll ever see a new game being developed that has a whole new graphics engine and different types of things that come with new games

It won't be added if there was a DS2. DarkSpace is designed around this style of gameplay, that's what makes it original.
Z-axis movement is a BIG no on the dev team.

DarkSpace2/DarkSpaceAssault will have a 3rd axis in the space combat part of the game.

2 gameplays one game, from what Ive heard anyway.
DarkSpace 2 and DarkSpace Assault will not be the same game, but will affect eachother as if they were.

The game is 2-plane movement to simplify action in the game.
We go over this every 6 months or so.
