TO: 5th Fleet
Earlier today Deep space sensor telemetry recorded a large Tachyon anomaly in the Lacerta sector. Our long range telescopes were able to give us the following imagery, the source appears to be the terran planet Demaret.
A scout craft was later able to capture high resolution images of the planet, three crewmen and the capitan were blinded on the bridge.:
Applying optical filters yielded the following image.
Pilots in the area are advised to avoid the general until further notice...

Hey guys sorry about that, evidently the Raven and SF engineering core were experimenting with amplified Tachyon Fields and couldn't get a signal though. We were also informed that the planet has been renamed "Catticus Prime," or pussy cat for short. As such, we advise you all to update your star charts. Capitans are still advised to avoid the area if they value their eyesight. COM out
