So i was browsing about through some folders, and i noticed a couple things that brought questions to my mind

first off, theres a "localserver" application in the darkspace folder. whats that for?

second, what the heck is a .wob file? i did a google search and found nothing. Only reference to a .wob file is an article about "RIO Designer Pro" using this file format, and the dude talking about it goes on to trash the program for being arciac and old. So whats a wob file?

i guess the localserver-folder was for the "local-tuturial"-server which was in the game some time ago

LocalServer.exe used to be used to run an instance of a local server (as the EXE name suggests!). It doesn't really have a use anymore as it was used to run the tutorial. Since we'll be intergrating this into the game client you should see it removed shortly.

As far as a wob file goes... It's an encrypted compressed file of a game asset. You need the specific build key to access the files within. It's not difficult to break into, but has relatively little use as most of the file formats are read by the resoucer only. It's basically a zip file, kinda.
