Hey everyone,

I have been trying to improve the DarkSpace article on Wikipedia, to get us some good press. One of the things they suggest is to add appropriate images. I have seen several of you take great screenshots so I thought I would post a call: Do you have a great screenshot that shows:

  • Several different types of ships?
  • Many players involved in combat?
  • A special event or scenario?
  • Some other cool aspect of DarkSpace?

These kinds of things would be useful for the article. (Several images on the DS screenshot page might be useful, but I'm not sure if the DS team wants me using those)

Please note: Wikipedia is a bit strict about the images it allows. They want images that "significantly increase readers' understanding of the topic, and its omission would be detrimental to that understanding." (see here). So ideally we should show off the unique features of DarkSpace. If you can think of other great features besides multiple ship types, large battles, and scenarios, post here!

PM me if you prefer an email. I can take care of uploading the images if you want.

Cheers!

Get a picture of a good lobby moment.

darn Culix, we haven't touched up on the darkspace wiki ever since it was labeled and cleared of so called marketing.. Good job.
While reading trough it i found some odd parts but can be over looked at the moment, still darn lot of revisions you put on Wikipedia, are they all up to the Wikipedia standards?

Darn nice and sincerely appreciate you doing it.

Thanks very much for the help in making the Wiki page 'proper like'!

I'll have a dig around and see if I can see any decent screenshots.

Gosh, thanks for the compliments I am happy to help any way I can.

If you think anything needs fixing or updating let me know! Feel free to PM me or I can send you my email.

heh. I hope so! I have been doing my best to follow Wikipedia's own guidelines, and I have begun asking for feedback from other editors. If anything doesn't fit I'll fix it. Once I get more feedback I'll go through the process of peer review and try to get it stamped as a 'Good' article. That should help it be more stable.

I have found that Wikipedia can be confusing if you aren't familiar with how they operate. If I am able to help translate between communities I am happy to do so.
