question to all devs.
why are you nerfing icc shields? they are fine, nice and balanced as they are.
is it because the k'luth are whining? they dont have enough players
UGTO dont wihne... they just enjoy the pvp

I believe he refers to the reduction in shield resistance vs energy weapons from 25% to 15%.

Three reasons really:
1. Energy damage reduction makes ICC ships rather difficult to kill at closer ranges when they weapon loadouts are for medium-long range. It hardly makes any sense.
2. We are looking for another damage reduction bonus geared towards kinetic energy (roughly 10%).
3. 25% is a terribly large modifier. Mind you, it would be alright if there was a sacrifice, but that isn't the point for shields at this moment...
